Alford House is just fifteen minutes from the West End. We are conveniently located for Vauxhall mainline and underground stations, Kennington underground station and Oval underground station. Lambeth North underground station and Waterloo mainline and underground stations are a pleasant 20 minute walk away.

Bus Routes

Being situated so close to the West End and City, Alford House is served by numerous bus routes, including:

Aveline Street is off Kennington Lane. Aveline Street itself only meets Kennington Lane as a footpath, (opposite the Pilgrim Public House).

Driving

If driving, turn at Loughborough Street, take the second right hand turn and follow the road round. Alford House is on the left hand side occupying much of Aveline Street. Our car park can be found just before the building itself.

Neighbourhood amenities

There are a number of restaurants, cafes, sandwich bars and service facilities in the Kennington and Vauxhall areas.

Although there are a number of cash point machines in the area, banks and building societies are one of the few services that are in short supply.
